Job summary

Super is seeking an experienced engineering leader to head a Platform team focused on release enablement, engineering quality, and developer productivity for a growing international organisation. You will partner across product engineering, QA, SRE, and leadership to speed, secure, and stabilize software delivery.

You will mentor managers and individual contributors, own critical platforms and tooling, and translate engineering improvements into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing platform, release engineering, QA, or developer-productivity teams.
• Strong understanding of modern software delivery, CI/CD, release automation, and quality gates.
• Experience scaling developer workflows, monorepos, or internal platforms.
• Ability to guide architectural decisions and balance trade-offs.
• Proven people leadership, coaching, and ambiguity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, managing performance and growth.
• Drive improvements in release engineering and software delivery for frequent, confident releases.
• Improve engineering quality with QA, product engineering, and platform teams on quality gates and testing.
• Reduce friction in builds, CI reliability, local development, and deployment flows.
• Guide architectural decisions for CI/CD, automation, tooling, and platform integrations.
• Translate improvements into measurable business outcomes for delivery speed and developer experience.
