Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in an engineering management role.
• 2+ years deploying into government or regulated cloud environments.
• Experience designing, building, and operating scaled production systems in the cloud (infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, containerized services).
• Deep technical fluency in architecture and design reviews; able to propose meaningful changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers through a zero-to-one build for regulated environments; define requirements, implement architecture changes, deploy and operate services end to end.
• Partner with the platform team to balance regulated infrastructure with the commercial platform for a single product across environments.
• Build repeatable environment provisioning: infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD with security scanning and change control.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, Product, and Applied AI to translate FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CMMC requirements into engineering work with auditable designs.
• Own operational outcomes for regulated environments: monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and evidence trails.
• Address gaps between commercial and regulated infra and design alternatives where services differ.
• Drive hiring in hypergrowth: build a strong bench and maintain high bar as the team scales.
• Coach and develop engineers into owners who focus on cross-project problems.
