Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Market Data & Analytics team within the Institutional product group. You will lead a team of engineers building the real-time market data and analytics platform that powers Coinbase's trading systems.

You will drive technical strategy and hire top talent to deliver low-latency, accurate data for institutional clients. You will partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to ship features, ensure data accuracy, and scale data feeds

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading an engineering team.
• Experience delivering real-time data, market data, or financial infrastructure systems.
• Strong system design, data pipelines, and backend language proficiency.
• Proven ability to hire and develop senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for market data and analytics, aligning priorities with Institutional goals and delivering from planning to delivery.
• Lead and grow a team of engineers through coaching, career development, and high technical standards.
• Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to scope and ship features expanding Coinbase's data capabilities.
• Drive data accuracy, reliability, and performance to meet strict latency and uptime requirements at scale.
