Job summary

Coinbase seeks an Engineering Manager for the Market Data & Analytics team within Institutional product group to lead real-time market data and analytics platforms powering trading systems. You will drive strategy, grow a high-performing team, and ensure low-latency, high-accuracy data for institutional clients and exchanges.

You’ll own roadmaps, coach 5–10 engineers, and partner with Product, Design, and other engineering domains to deliver scalable features, while maintaining operational

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of people management in engineering.
• Experience delivering real-time data or financial infrastructure.
• Strong systems design and streaming/data pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Kotlin, Go, C++).
• Ability to hire, develop, and retain senior engineers.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear plans.
• Responsible use of AI with human oversight.
