Coinbase is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Market Data & Analytics team within the Institutional product group. You will lead a team of engineers building and scaling the real-time market data platform that powers Coinbase's trading systems, owning index pricing, data ingestion, and funding rate computation.

You'll drive technical strategy, grow a high-performing team, and deliver accurate, low-latency data for institutional clients and downstream services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years leading teams.
• Proven track record delivering real-time data, market data, or financial systems.
• Experience with systems design, streaming/data pipelines, and one backend language.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for market data and analytics, aligning priorities with Institutional goals.
• Lead and grow a team of 5-10 engineers with high technical standards.
• Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to scope and ship features.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance for low-latency data feeds.
