Battelle is seeking an Engineering Manager in the RTAI Division to lead rapid technology assessments, custom engineering and advanced integrations. You will manage a technical group delivering rapid prototyping of innovative solutions with deep domain expertise for national security and commercial missions.

The role provides people leadership, program oversight, and resource management with direct authority over technical staff, ensuring high quality execution and workforce readiness.

Formación

• PhD with 3+ years; OR Master’s with 5+ years; OR Bachelor’s with 7+ years in engineering or related field.
• Experience leading advanced systems development programs within an R&D or advanced engineering environment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Implements short and long term operating plans for the RTAI division.
• Oversees resource planning, staffing models, project assignments for 30–50 staff across programs.
• Leads to ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
• Manages hiring, performance reviews, and career development planning.
