You’ll own the team from architecture to delivery, partnering with product, design, data, and finance to balance patient access with provider success. Preference for candidates in New York City or San Francisco, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on engineering management experience.
• Experience hiring engineers and managing performance.
• Strong React/TypeScript/Node.js/PostgreSQL capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of 4–6 engineers.
• Coach engineers through feedback and career development.
• Scale the team through recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding.
• Stay hands-on through architecture and code reviews.
• Partner with product and design to shape roadmaps and deliver outcomes.
• Drive system design decisions for reliability and scalability.
• Establish team rituals and planning processes.
