Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Engineering Manager for CustomerLake to lead the Profile Agents team, shaping product, architecture, and the engineering foundation behind a Customer 360 platform. You will own delivery of identity resolution pipelines, and agent-generated outputs, while building a scalable, high-impact team.

You will drive technical direction with product leadership, set quality standards, and partner with customers to translate their data challenges into engineering priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading high-performing teams.
• 8+ years of experience building and operating production data or distributed systems.
• Experience building or leading teams shipping data engineering products such as ETL, MDM, or data quality tooling.
• Hands-on experience applying agents or LLMs to data engineering problems like matching, entity resolution, or pipeline generation.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for Profile Agents and Customer 360 outputs from identity resolution to production-ready results.
• Hire and grow a small, senior team and scale the foundation as the product moves from private preview.
• Help set technical direction with product and VP of Engineering; define process and architecture where playbooks don’t exist.
• Build the quality bar for agent-generated pipelines and determine automation vs human review.
