Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Engineering Manager for CustomerLake to lead Profile Agents and shape the product, architecture, and engineering foundation behind Customer 360. You will own delivery, hire and grow a senior team, and influence technical direction with the VP of Engineering as the product evolves.

This is a pivotal role in building agentic data applications, with direct customer engagement to translate needs into priorities while driving scale across data and AI platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams.
• 8+ years in production data or distributed systems.
• Experience with ETL/MDM/data quality tooling.
• Hands-on with agents or LLMs in data engineering.
• BS or higher in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for Profile Agents, from identity resolution to Customer 360 outputs.
• Hire and grow a small, senior team and scale the foundation as the product expands.
• Help set technical direction with product and VP of Engineering.
• Build the quality bar for agent-generated pipelines and validation against data.
• Work with customers and design partners to turn problems into priorities.
