Stellar Industries in Galion, OH seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance and improvement of chassis mounted fuel and lubrication equipment, guiding design engineering support for manufacturing and partnering with operations and plant leadership.

You will mentor engineers, drive cost reductions, ensure safety and quality, and deliver timely, manufacturable designs while fostering collaboration and continuous product improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering-related role.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the hiring, training, and technical development of engineering personnel.
• Coach and develop the team with a people first perspective.
• Identify opportunities to reduce product cost, improve reliability, and simplify manufacturing.
• Identify and eliminate sources of waste in workflows and via design.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on design challenges.
• Influence designs to maximize commonality, scalability, and lifecycle performance.
• Review designs to specifications for compliance and required regulations.
• Fulfill customer service requests including warranty inspection and field troubleshooting.
