Job summary

Election Systems & Software, LLC is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Product Development team in Omaha, Nebraska. You will mentor engineers, drive an engineering culture, and deliver secure, high-quality software using Agile and DevSecOps practices.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and Architects on scope, timelines, and design while guiding a team through modern software development challenges.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a CS-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software development/engineering experience with C#, Java, and C++.
• 2+ years of leadership/people management experience.
• Experience with Angular and SQL Server.
• AI and SDET experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties for a team of Software Engineers.
• Execute against major product initiatives, leveraging Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership, guiding your team to deliver high-quality software using industry best practices, secure coding principles, and a shift-left mentality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Architects, and Development Leadership on product design and timelines.
