Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Engineering Management.
• Two years of experience in a closely related engineering role.
• Experience in dynamic power systems modeling using PSSE & PLSF; renewable generation modeling; NERC compliance studies; model qualify testing for ERCOT sites.
• Technical report writing; coordinating multiple projects with strict regulatory deadlines; interaction with plant owners, OEMs, and grid operators during testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of power system engineers to support ISO commissioning and testing requirements for newly connected energy resources.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality and budget objectives.
• Interact with clients to seek input and address needs and concerns with respect to project scope.
• Support business development by developing RFP responses & scope of work statements.
• Develop and grow engineering capabilities within the team and the larger organization.
• Lead process improvements to maximize efficiency while maintaining deliverables timelines and quality.
• Coordinate testing with plant owners, OEMs, and grid operators during commissioning and testing.
