Job summary

ECNS Global Consultants PLLC is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead major commissioning programs across electrical and power systems. The role emphasizes planning, review of procedures, and coordination with clients and project teams.

The ideal candidate will hold an ABET-accredited EE degree, have 10+ years in testing/commissioning, and possess a PE license. Travel up to 100% and on-site work with diverse projects are expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. or M.S. in electrical engineering.
• 10+ years in electrical testing, commissioning, startup, or power systems.
• PE license required.
• Experience with protection and control systems, electrical equipment testing, power system operation, and commissioning best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead major commissioning programs from planning through final turnover.
• Oversee complex electrical and power system commissioning activities.
• Review and approve commissioning procedures, test plans, and technical reports.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of system issues.
• Manage client relationships and technical coordination.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
