Job summary

Current Power seeks a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function, overseeing the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and Project Engineering team, delivering complex engineered-to-order electrical power, control, and electro-mechanical systems from review to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive engineering experience in industrial electrical power and control systems.
• At least four (4) years of direct people leadership experience managing engineers or designers.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering execution across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team and oversee resource planning.
• Own engineering execution across full project lifecycle from proposal through closeout.
• Establish and monitor engineering plans, budgets, schedules, and milestones.
• Review and approve critical engineering deliverables and technical decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to improve manufacturability and test quality.
• Support sales through technical estimates and proposal reviews.
• Establish and report engineering performance indicators.
