Job summary
Forgent Power in the United States seeks a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for automation and control of power distribution equipment. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/controls engineering or equivalent with 8–10 years in controls.
- 4–5 years of formal leadership or mentoring experience.
- Experience with PLC/HMI programming and industrial networks.
- Experience with power distribution equipment (switchgear or control panels).
- Knowledge of UL/NEC codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing controls engineering team.
- Oversee PLC/HMI programming, testing, and commissioning support.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to translate designs for test and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, and customer specifications.
