AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is recruiting for an Engineering Manager at a Houston, TX plastics facility.

The role oversees a small engineering team and drives engineering activities supporting custom plastic injection molding, NPI, tooling, and manufacturing processes. This on-site position requires hands-on molding expertise, strong leadership, and program management to guide projects from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in custom plastic injection molding manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with plastic injection molding processes, tooling, mold design, plastics, automation, and DFM.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, CAD files, and 3D models.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing engineering projects and NPI/product launches.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 engineers.
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept to production launch.
• Manage multiple engineering projects, establish priorities, identify issues, gather requirements, and drive to completion.
• Partner with Manufacturing Operations, Sales, Tooling, Automation, management, and customers on projects.
• Provide technical guidance related to plastic injection molding, tooling, mold design, materials, processes, automation, and DFM.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and 3D models in support of development and production.
• Support Sales and customer-facing engineering activities including technical quoting and feasibility.
• Coordinate engineering with tooling and vendors.
• Develop and implement engineering processes, procedures, and standards.
