Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer Manager to lead the GDI group under NG-SIEM, focusing on petabyte-scale data ingestion. You will manage a multi-region, 24/7 platform and guide 6+ engineers towards scalable, reliable ingestion across 100+ data sources.

You will own the roadmap, drive OKRs, and partner with product, CS, and support to ensure exceptional outcomes. This role is hybrid, NYC-based, with occasional travel and clear leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Experience architecting distributed systems in large-scale cloud environments.
• 2+ years leading teams of 6+ engineers and delivering major milestones.
• Proven operational excellence across multi-region services.
• Track record improving customer experience and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 6+ engineers to solve hard distributed-systems problems with high availability, performance and cost optimization.
• Own the team roadmap and quarterly OKRs.
• Instill operational excellence and define SLOs for global production systems.
• Engage regularly with product management, customer success and support.
• Lead by example with customer and product focus; maintain engineering talent and accountability.
• Collaborate across data platforms and product teams; travel a few times yearly.
