Datadog is seeking an Engineering Manager to own people management and engineering execution for one of OP's core missions. You will partner with Product to shape the roadmap and work with EMs and senior ICs to influence technical direction in a fast-growing product area.

The role blends leadership with hands-on technical collaboration, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and a product-minded approach to strategy.

Qualifications

• Experienced managing engineers directly, owning a team’s operating rhythm end-to-end.
• Technical background in distributed systems and data infrastructure.
• Experience with on-premises or customer-installed software concepts.
• A product-minded partner who collaborates with Product on strategy.
• Experience with high-performance Rust-based data pipeline systems.
