Job summary

Sigma Design is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the technical execution of product development programs in a prototype and NPI environment. You will drive engineering quality, technical decision-making, validation strategy, manufacturing readiness, and on-time delivery from concept through production transfer.

The role serves as the primary technical authority to customer stakeholders and leads a multidisciplinary engineering team in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with DFM, DFA, and DFT initiatives.
• Experience developing engineering project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues in complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment at a client site.
• Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.

• Lead, mentor, and develop primarily Mechanical, Process, and Test Engineers.
• Establish technical standards, engineering best practices, and development methodologies.
• Drive technical excellence, innovation, and engineering accountability.
• Manage engineering performance, development plans, and succession planning.

• Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
