Job summary

Emerson United Inc- Strategic Search and Recruitment seeks an Engineering Manager to lead Mobile and Frontend engineers in a hands-on, Flutter-first role. You’ll stay active in architecture, development, and problem-solving while steering mobile and web UI delivery from Redwood City, CA.

The ideal candidate ships production mobile apps, mentors teams, and sets technical direction with product and backend leadership. This is a hands-on leadership position with architecture ownership.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on Flutter/Dart experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
• Experience managing or leading software engineering teams.
• Player-coach approach with continued involvement in coding and technical decisions.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, application performance, and API integration.

We’re seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of Mobile and Frontend engineers.

This is a mobile-first, player-coach role for an experienced Flutter engineer who has grown into engineering leadership but remains actively involved in architecture, development, and technical problem-solving.

The right candidate will bring significant hands-on Flutter/Dart experience, a track record of shipping production mobile applications, and the ability to lead both mobile and web UI engineers.
