Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Machine Learning Infrastructure team to lead design/build of scalable tooling and production ML workflows. You will attract and grow a high-performing team while shaping roadmaps and ensuring timely cybersecurity detections.

You will balance ambitious product goals with reliability, mentor engineers, and drive architecture choices that maintain leadership in this critical space.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS or related Engineering field.
• 7+ years in software development and 3+ years in team lead/management.
• Led teams delivering ML cloud infrastructure and features.
• Experience in cloud infra, infrastructure as code, database design or SQL performance.
• Familiarity with ML models such as LLMs, clustering and anomaly detection.
• Solid DevOps, CI/CD, and scalability/availability practices.
• Basic threat detection, intrusion prevention and incident response understanding.
• Experience with agile software development life cycle.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide design/implementation for complex technical projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure quality and stability for enterprise customers.
• Own end-to-end product ownership from planning to on-call support and issue communication.
