Omada Health is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a member-facing squad that ships production features every sprint, owning delivery from prototype to production and keeping quality front and center.

You will mentor engineers, shape the team’s priorities, and partner with a Product Strategist to align on what to build and when. You’ll drive AI-enabled development, on-call health, and data-driven tradeoffs across the stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• Track record shipping mission-critical software to production.
• Experience owning prioritization and estimation for a team.
• Experience giving direct developmental feedback and managing underperformance.
• Currently shipping production code across backend, frontend, mobile or similar stacks.
• Comfort with an expert-generalist model and AI agents in production.
• Understanding of CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and telemetry.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the squad's delivery and sprint shaping.
• Own cycle time and explain changes.
• Ship production code every sprint with the squad's workflows.
• Partner with Product Strategist to align scope and delivery.
• Grow engineers and manage on-call health (MTTR, post-incident analysis).
• Escalate tradeoffs with data-backed recommendations.
• Hire AI-augmented Omadans and build an inclusive team.
