Viant is a global medical device partner providing design, development, manufacturing, and assembly services across multiple capabilities. The Brimfield site specializes in orthopedic implants and instruments, offering advanced CNC milling, turning, laser marking, and finishing.

The role of Engineer Manager supports Operations with hands-on manufacturing engineering and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Process teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong statistical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to quality, regulatory, and safety requirements (QMS, EMS, FDA).
• Identify, track, and communicate major new product ramps and cost reductions.
• Lead the development and implementation of Quality and Regulatory requirements.
• Plan and ensure resources for Process and Test Method Validations (IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ).
• Communicate procedures and technical information clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
• Apply structured problem-solving and Six Sigma DMAIC approaches.
