Job summary

Viant Medical, Brimfield, MA, is seeking an Engineer Manager to provide hands-on Manufacturing Engineering support for Operations and to collaborate with customers, Engineering, Quality Systems, and Process Engineering.

You will lead quality/regulatory initiatives, drive process validations, and apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency and product quality across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong statistical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to quality and regulatory requirements including QMS, EMS, FDA regs.
• Identify, track, resolve major new product ramps and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead development and implementation of quality and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and ensure resources for IQ, OQ, PQ, PPQ validations.
• Communicate procedures and technical information clearly within Viant and with suppliers/customers.
• Prepare documentation using Viant templates (specifications, ECOs, reports).
• Apply Lean manufacturing to improve cycle times and reduce waste.
• Lead DMAIC improvements to reduce variation.
• Manage cross-functional project activities.
• Mentor junior staff and drive performance.
