Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International is partnering with a global medical device manufacturer to recruit an Engineering Manager for its Brimfield facility. This is an opportunity to combine engineering leadership, operational improvement and new product introduction within a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will lead 10-12 manufacturing engineers, drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, oversee IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ validations, and coordinate with quality, manufacturing and customers to ensure robust

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing engineering team.
• Background in metals processing or precision manufacturing.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments is valuable.
• Proven capability in NPI, project management and process validation.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Direct hands-on CNC experience is an advantage.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team with clear objectives and performance feedback.
• Improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance quality, delivery and productivity.
• Lead new product introduction and manufacturing transfers with cross-functional teams.
• Plan and oversee IQ, OQ, PQ and PPQ validations.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and variation.
• Collaborate with customers on requirements and development challenges.
• Ensure engineering activities and documentation meet quality and regulatory requirements.
