Job summary

BioTalent is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a growing CNC machining operation focused on high-precision metal components within the medical device manufacturing space. You will lead a team of roughly 14 engineers and technical specialists, drive both NPI and sustaining operations, and influence capital investments and long-term site growth within a regulated

We're partnering with a global medical device manufacturer to find an Engineering Manager to lead a growing CNC machining operation focused on high-precision metal components.

This is a high-impact leadership role following an internal promotion, with strong visibility from senior leadership and a clear mandate to elevate engineering performance and support site expansion.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 14 engineers and technical specialists
• Drive both New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining operations
• Oversee CNC machining processes (milling, turning, lathes) in a regulated environment
• Partner on new business quoting, DFM, and customer engagement
• Help shape site strategy, capital investments, and long-term growth

What we’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing engineering
• Strong hands‑on expertise in CNC machining
• Background in medical device (preferred) or another regulated industry
• Experience across both NPI and production/sustaining environments
• Ability to mentor and develop a growing team

Nice to have:

• Experience in orthopedic medical devices (implants or instrumentation)
