Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven success leading cross-functional product development from concept to commercialization.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, design verification and validation, and engineering change management.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD, ERP systems, and engineering documentation.
• Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Design for Manufacturability.
• Excellent leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred: PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development from concept through launch, meeting schedule, budget, quality, and cost targets.
• Oversee engineering design, prototyping, testing, validation, and production release.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and project management teams with clear priorities and accountability.
• Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations for manufacturability and launches.
• Standardize engineering processes, documentation, design reviews, and change management.
• Drive continuous improvement, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Lean initiatives, and engineering efficiency.
• Monitor metrics, including project delivery, development cycle time, product quality, and cost performance.
