Job summary

Electrical Components International (ECI) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the process sheet engineering department at the Foxborough, MA facility. The role ensures customer satisfaction by overseeing engineering requirements in FAC operations and mentoring staff.

The position reports to the Vice President & General Manager - MRG and is an on-site role at the MRG facility in Foxborough, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in harness fabrication process.
• Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
• Excellent communication with customers, managers and high level executives.

Responsibilities

• Oversees process sheet engineering department.
• Manages incoming quote requests and revisions.
• Prepares and reviews quotes.
• Collaborates with purchasing to establish and maintain component prices for harness quoting purposes.
• Collaborates with manufacturing engineering and production to resolve questions/concerns.
• Collaborate with customer’s buyers and engineers to resolve questions/concerns.
• Collaborates with component vendors to collect technical information.
• Oversees engineering’s component database.
• Oversees engineering’s master cross reference file.
• Ensures customer prints, specifications and drawings are properly received and logged.
• Collaborates with quality department to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Oversees CAD department.
• Oversees and collaborates with IT on engineering-related software.
