Job summary

The Lodge at Kukui’ula seeks an Engineering Manager to lead maintenance across luxurious resort properties on Kauai. You will manage owner units, public spaces, and core systems while ensuring guest safety and high standards.

The role demands budgeting, planning, and collaboration with leadership. Based in Hawaii, you’ll bring at least five years in hospitality engineering, a two‑year degree, and a valid Hawaii driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree required.
• At least five years as Engineering Manager in a large hotel or one year as Assistant Engineering Manager.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, upholstery, etc.
• Read and understand building plans; familiarity with safety rules and lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of owner units, shared spaces, and main systems.
• Ensure guest and homeowner safety and satisfaction by handling requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of units and public areas.
• Help maximize profits through efficient use of equipment, tools, and supplies.
