Job summary

Hilton's Waldorf Astoria in Atlanta seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Property Operations Team. You will oversee the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems, ensuring safe, compliant operations and exceptional guest experiences.

You’ll recruit and develop a high-performing engineering team, manage contractor engagement, and coordinate with city officials to maintain top-quality facilities. This role centers on hospitality excellence and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering/maintenance teams in large hospitality properties.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of hotel buildings, mechanical/electrical/HVAC systems and life safety, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide leadership to maintenance operations, set priorities, and verify task completion.
• Coordinate with external contractors and city officials; inspect work quality.
• Handle service requests, guest concerns, and emergencies promptly.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate engineering/maintenance staff to ensure high-quality work.
