Job summary

LSI in Blue Ash, Ohio is seeking an Engineering Manager for Lighting Controls to lead the Applications Engineers and Technical Support teams, overseeing design, commissioning, and ongoing support of luminaire integrated control systems including Airlink Blue.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing and Field Service to deliver projects on time, maintain high technical standards, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 5 years in lighting controls or related field with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Bluetooth Mesh and WiFi networks.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Applications Engineers, Technical Support Engineers, and Commissioning Specialists.
• Oversee design, take-offs, BOMs, and documentation for lighting controls projects.
• Manage project pipelines, milestones, and risks; coordinate with manufacturing.
• Provide escalation support and field troubleshooting; ensure commissioning standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on product improvements.
