Brigit is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead high-performing teams building critical financial health products and scalable systems. You will mentor engineers, shape roadmaps, and drive architectural decisions with cross-functional partners to deliver impact at scale.

You will partner with Product, Design, Data, and Ops to balance speed and reliability, while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture across our New York-area teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in management in high-growth environments.
• Proven track record shipping complex backend/platform architectures.
• Experience guiding greenfield and platform transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, empower, and grow a diverse engineering team through regular 1:1s and career planning.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Business teams to define roadmaps and technical scope.
• Drive sprint planning, capacity allocation, and architectural oversight for reliable delivery.
• Guide architectural decisions and assess design docs for security, testability, and scale.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
