L&R Industries is expanding its Engineering Department and seeks an Engineering Manager to lead engineering for both new and legacy products. The role focuses on profitability, project completion, and cross-functional support for dealers and end users, requiring strong technical leadership and excellence.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s in engineering with 5+ years supervising engineers in a manufacturing setting, plus project management experience and knowledge of GD&T and 3D

Qualifications

• 5+ years directly supervising and managing engineers in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers, drafters, and technicians.
• Project management experience leading cross-functional teams (Stage Gate preferred).
• Design/manufacturing engineering experience with agricultural or construction attachments is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering functions for new and legacy products, focusing on project completion and profitability.
• Develop departmental goals aligned with company strategy and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality standards.
• Recruit, hire, and develop staff to build a first-class engineering organization.
• Baseline real-time departmental performance through measurement and reporting.
