L & R Industries, LLC is initiating its first standalone Engineering Department, creating an extraordinary chance to shape engineering in a 50+ year manufacturing legacy. You will lead engineers, drafters, and technicians, building a high-performance team committed to project completion, profitability, and strategic goals.

You will drive departmental planning, collaborate across functions, and push continuous improvement while maintaining high-quality standards and real-time performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supervising engineers in manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through a Stage Gate process.
• Design/manufacturing experience with agricultural or construction attachments desired.
• Advanced 3D modeling, drafting, and GD&T knowledge.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians with mentorship.
• Develop departmental goals aligning with company strategy.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement and high-quality standards.
• Interview, hire, and develop staff to build an engineering organization.
• Create and report real-time departmental results.
• Hands-on participation in engineering design and department work.
