FORCE America is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and support staff in Manitowoc, WI. You will guide design, development, and production releases while aligning with corporate strategy and department standards.

The role involves coordinating with upper management, participating in staffing decisions, and ensuring compliance with engineering processes. Strong leadership and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field.
• 5 years of experience in an engineering environment or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of fluid power system design experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and project-management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team (engineers, specialists, technicians, etc.) in design, development, and production release of technical solutions.
• Gather project specifications, develop concepts and cost estimates, and draft system proposals for new products.
• Maintain Engineering Change process andDocumentation Standards; conduct audits for compliance.
• Assist Manufacturing and Quality with production, QA, and testing procedures.
• Coordinate activities with other units to ensure timely deliverables.
• Participate in performance reviews, hiring, training, and mentoring staff.
• Oversee IT tool implementations (CAD and software development toolsets) within Engineering.
