Job summary

FORCE America, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team of engineers and technicians in designing, testing, and delivering advanced fluid power solutions.

You will drive technical decisions, coordinate cross-functional activities, and mentor staff while aligning projects with corporate goals. The role emphasizes strong leadership, program management, and clear communication as you oversee CAD tools and engineering processes, ensuring timely development and compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field and 5 years of experience in an engineering environment.
• 5-10 years of experience with fluid power system design.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software suite.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team (engineers, specialists, technicians, etc.) in research, design, development, and production release of technical solutions.
• Assist in gathering project specifications, developing concepts and cost estimates, and drafting system proposals for new products.
• Maintain the Engineering Change process and Engineering Documentation Standards and conduct audits.
• Support Manufacturing and Quality in developing production, QA, and testing procedures.
• Coordinate activities with other units to meet project deliverables and timelines.
• Participate in performance reviews, issue resolution, hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Oversee IT packages within Engineering such as CAD or software development toolsets.
• Other duties, as assigned.
