Prince Industries, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team in Carol Stream, IL, overseeing project delivery on schedule and budget. The role emphasizes strategic input, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Production, and Quality.

Responsibilities include APQP, NPI, manufacturing engineering oversight, and coaching the team to meet company goals while ensuring customer and supplier engineering support.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering
• Solid background in CNC machining (Turning/Milling)
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the functional area of responsibility.
• Lead or supervise continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee Estimating, PDM (part data management), NPI (new product introduction), Manufacturing Engineering (NC programming, work holding development).
• Manage APQP, ECR/ PCN and New product launch.
• Interact daily with Sales, Production, & Quality personnel.
• Attend MRB meetings.
• Coach and develop the engineering team with company goals and guidelines in mind.
• Provide engineering support to customers and suppliers.
• Evaluate direct reports, creates & executes training and development plans.
