Job summary

Scalable Capital is seeking a senior backend engineering leader to guide a team of five engineers who own critical client data systems. You will establish technical vision, drive architectural decisions, and ensure robust delivery across distributed services, events, and cloud infrastructure.

You will coach and develop engineers, raise engineering standards, and partner with product, security, and risk teams to deliver retirement accounts functionality while supporting European expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex backend/distributed systems.
• Managed engineering teams and made architectural decisions.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering large-scale data systems.
