• Strong backend skills in Java and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 with full responsibility for technical and delivery outcomes.
• Create a culture of ownership and accountability within the team.
• Drive team goals, milestones, and backlogs with Product Owners.
• Empower engineers with testing, automation, observability and documentation.
• Track metrics and improve delivery processes.
• Manage incidents and on-call rotas and runbooks.
• Maintain shipping cadence balancing short- and long-term priorities.
• Improve SDLC and developer experience at XTM.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders.
