Job summary

Allstate is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of next-generation operational claims systems for Allstate Dealer Services. You will lead multiple agile teams, shape the technical strategy, and foster a high-performing engineering culture.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable backend services and applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native apps, and DevOps.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and production delivery processes.
• Proven ability to attract, develop, coach, and retain engineering talent.
• Experience partnering with Product Management and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
