Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of OO design and patterns.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL development.
• Experience with automated testing and TDD (JUnit, Selenium, etc.).
• CI/CD and DevOps with GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Gradle, Maven.
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Observability and monitoring with Datadog or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, XP environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs for enterprise payments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, retrospectives).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, development, and operation of scalable microservices.
• Apply engineering best practices including clean code, TDD, code reviews, automated testing.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications in production.
