Job summary

SNC seeks an Engineering Manager II to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team within its IAS business area, delivering high-performance aerospace and defense systems on time and within budget.

You will develop schedules, manage costs, mentor staff, and drive technical solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance. Travel up to 10% is expected; collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in a related discipline.
• Typically, 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.
• Thorough Understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team to achieve project milestones.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of engineering products.
• Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
• Drive the development and implementation of technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
