Job summary

Crossmint is hiring a senior Engineering Manager to own identity, compliance and risk as a shared engineering horizontal. You will lead a player-coach team, defining roadmaps and staying hands-on to review architecture and domain models.

This role requires deep regulatory experience and a track record shipping in payments, banking, or crypto environments. You will report to the CTO and work with Product, Compliance, Legal, Security and Risk Operations to turn regulatory obligations into robust

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production systems.
• 2+ years managing engineers.
• Hands-on depth in identity, KYC/KYB, or AML screening scenarios.
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language; TypeScript preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap for identity, compliance and risk.
• Define shared services and domain models across clients and jurisdictions.
• Lead threat modelling, incident response, and architectural reviews.
• Manage, grow and develop a team of engineers; oversee hiring and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Security to translate regulatory obligations into product requirements.
