Job summary

Crossmint is hiring a senior Engineering Manager to own identity, compliance and risk as a single engineering horizontal. You will lead a player‑coach team, own the roadmap, review architecture, and ensure risk controls while collaborating with Compliance, Legal, Security, and Risk Operations.

The role requires 8+ years building production systems, 2+ years managing engineers, and a track record in regulated environments such as payments or crypto. Base salary is $250k–$280k with stock options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on depth in identity, authentication, and onboarding systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language; TypeScript preferred.
• Experience designing data models and scalable domain models for multi-client environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap for identity, compliance and risk.
• Lead the team: performance reviews, mentoring, and hiring.
• Review architecture, participate in incident reviews, and ensure security and risk controls.
