Job summary

Crossmint is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to own identity, compliance and risk as a single engineering horizontal. You will lead a player-coach team, define the roadmap, and review architecture while staying hands-on.

The role reports to the CTO and collaborates with Product, Compliance, Legal, Security, and Risk Operations. Hybrid work from NYC or Miami is supported, with strong compensation and stock options.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production systems and 2+ years managing engineers.
• Track record shipping in a regulated environment (payments, banking, lending, crypto, or similar).
• Hands-on depth in identity/authentication, KYC/KYB and onboarding, or fraud/risk decisioning.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap for identity, compliance and risk.
• Define shared services including identity/account models, onboarding, authentication/authorization, screening/monitoring, and risk decisioning.
• Lead threat modelling and failure-mode analysis for the systems your team owns.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to translate regulatory obligations into product requirements.
