Job Title - Engineering Manager - Gaming Development
Location - Remote in US
About the Role
- We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gaming Development Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of game developers and engineers.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, creative environment and has a strong technical background in game development, along with proven leadership skills.
- Lead and manage a team of game developers, software engineers, and technical artists to deliver high‑quality gaming experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to define game features, architecture, and development timelines.
- Drive technical excellence and innovation in game development, including performance optimization, scalability, and platform compatibility.
- Oversee the development lifecycle from concept to release, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and development methodologies to enhance productivity and game quality.
- Manage resource allocation, project planning, and risk mitigation across multiple projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and platform guidelines.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Game Development, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in game development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong proficiency in game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or proprietary engines.
- Experience with cross‑platform development (PC, console, mobile).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of delivering successful game titles or major game features.
- Collaborate with world’s oldest and most popular game studio and collaborate with them on one of the most iconic games in history.

The salary for this position is between $100,000 to $140,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
