Job summary

Applied Intuition is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers, owning end-to-end delivery for high-stakes programs with defense and government customers.

You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and improve repeatable delivery practices while staying close to architecture and deployment challenges. This is a senior, customer-facing, high-visibility role that requires security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in technical leadership.
• Production-grade software experience and deployment to active customers (not R&D).
• Strong customer-facing skills and mentoring ability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers and own end-to-end delivery.
• Represent Applied Intuition with defense and government customers.
• Review architectures and drive scalable delivery practices.
• Stay close to technology and assist when a program needs it.
• Drive outcomes and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
