Applied Intuition is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Forward Deployed team. You will lead 8–12 engineers, owning end-to-end delivery of high-stakes projects in defense environments.

The role requires hands-on technical engagement and close collaboration with customers. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and scale delivery practices while maintaining high quality and speed in complex, evolving programs.

Qualifications

• Production-grade software experience deployed to active customers.
• Strong customer-facing skills and problem-solving orientation.
• Proven mentorship and leadership of engineering talent.
• Broad engineering background across software, OS, and hardware.
• Experience deploying and integrating complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead 8–12 Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver high-stakes projects.
• Own delivery outcomes across a portfolio of programs.
• Represent Applied Intuition with defense and government customers.
• Set technical direction and scalable delivery practices.
• Review architectures and drive critical tradeoffs with customers.
