RG Group in York, PA is seeking an Engineering Manager and Fluid Power Design Engineer to advance into leadership. You will balance hands-on engineering with people management, guiding a team to develop cost-effective fluid power solutions that meet customer requirements.

You will provide mentorship, manage projects, coordinate releases, and drive performance with a focus on delivering on schedule and on budget while fostering innovation and continuous learning within the ES engineering team.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree, mechanical preferred.
• 5–10 years in designing fluid power systems.
• 3 years of people or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and evaluations.
• Identify system improvements, cost reductions, and value adds.
• Interact with customers to capture requirements for fluid power projects.
• Collaborate to design cost-effective solutions meeting specs.
• Develop costing for engineered systems with quoting team.
• Manage projects, ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.
• Approve engineering releases and changes.
• Lead and develop the ES engineering team.
