RG Group in York, PA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the ES engineering team and advance fluid power design projects. This role blends hands-on engineering with people management and requires strong collaboration with customers to deliver value.

Candidates should have a 4-year engineering degree (prefer Mechanical), 5–10 years in fluid power design, and 3 years of leadership experience. The position offers on-site work and competitive compensation with benefits.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree, preferably Mechanical.
• 5–10 years of experience in fluid power design.
• 3 years of experience managing people or projects.

Responsabilités

• Provide mentorship, performance evaluations, and guidance to staff.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and non-value-added work.
• Collaborate with customers to define requirements for fluid power projects.
• Design cost-effective solutions meeting customer needs and qualification requirements.
• Develop accurate costing for engineered systems proposals with quoting team.
• Manage projects to deliver on time, on cost, and in-spec.
• Approve engineering releases and changes across projects.
• Maintain documentation and communicate production status forecasts.
• Lead ES engineering team with a culture of collaboration and learning.
